In the third panel of the third page of our comic, Sara drew three pictures above Sam’s head. These were actually much bigger when she painted them, and they’re pretty cool, so we’re posting them here. First:

Shotgun

This one is based on Shotgun, a dog that Sara’s folks rescued. He was still a puppy at the time, and wouldn’t stop harassing the cows, so the owner decided to shoot at him… with his shotgun. Sara’s mom packed him up in the car and brought him back home. He likes to sit on top of the hill looking out over everything, watching birds fly over the pond. He’s also got a thyroid problem and has been known to eat the other dogs’ food when they aren’t looking. He is the sweetest, calmest, biggest doggie in the whole world.
